Materials and techniques

What we make our costumes from and how we make them

Each material is selected for a specific purpose: the durability of the fur, head ventilation, and the precise fit of the frame.

Fur

Fur

  • Premium-grade faux fur (density and pile length tailored to the character)
  • Fur for fine details and gradients
  • Heat-resistant fur for head edging
  • Hand-selected color palette and manual color blending

Base and frame

  • Molded polyurethane foam head base
  • EVA foam and PVC mesh framework
  • Breathable lining for the bodysuit
  • Reinforced seams at paw and tail joints

Head and muzzle

  • Moving jaw (magnetic or tension-based)
  • Battery-powered fan system
  • Painted vision mesh (color-matched to the muzzle)
  • Custom fiberglass or EVA eyes

Decor and painting

  • Airbrushing on fur and latex
  • Acrylic painting of claws and nose
  • Heat-transfer and embroidered elements
  • Final anti-static treatment of the fur

A transparent six-stage process—with the client approving the result at each stage.

  3. 03

    Base and frame

We shape the head base and assemble the body and limb framework according to the client's specific measurements.

    • EVA foam
    • Client's measurements
  4. 04

    Tailoring and Fur

Aurora — a dragon fursuit

Partial

Dragon fullsuit featuring latex scale detailing and illuminated spikes.

  • Basics from Jay,
  • fur miemie + llama.

Paws

Partial

These are the classic fox-fur ones. They’re so pretty 🥰

    Arctic fox paws

    Partial

These are the first arctic fox paws of this kind I’ve made; before this, I only used red fox. I really like the color combination. Plus, the customer is a very lovely person ☺

      Cherry

      Head

Why "Cherry"? Well, she reminds me of a cherry—plus, I gave her a cherry-themed interior design. She turned out to be a really cool lady. I want to sell her abroad, and I really hope someone buys her. I’m planning to make another dog-lady in a similar style; the idea is for her to turn out looking like a princess.

        A brilliant mind

        Head

And we also had such a miracle. Since June, it has been making its new owner happy somewhere👀.

Luna — a wolf partial suit

          Partial

The head, paws, and tail feature a cool gray-blue palette with star-patterned detailing.

          • Fur
          • Thermal transfer
          • Fiberglass eyes
